Dr. Michiel grew up in Fresno and earned his molecular and cellular biology undergraduate degree from Fresno State. He then studied dentistry at U.C. San Francisco, where he was awarded the prestigious Kellogg Scholarship.
Following dental school, he completed his residency at Fresno’s Community Regional Medical Center (CRMC). He is committed to advancing his expertise through continuing education, technology integration, and evidence-based dentistry, including the risk model for disease prevention.
